Ben Saunders not going to the Pole!

Ben Saunders has announced via Twitter that he will not be flying to his start point for the North Pole record attempt. Weather has been terrible up in the Arctic for Ben and, having waited for weeks, he has finally ended plans for a solo, unsupported, speed attempt to ski to the North Pole; Ben had aimed to make the Pole in a record breaking 36 days.

Check out the two previous Exceed Possibility posts on Ben Saunders and be sure to check out http://www.bensaunders.com/ for further news and information. Commiserations to Ben, hopefully we'll see another attempt next year.
